Week 4 – AP Studio Feedback and Ideas
On Friday we asked you to share what’s important to you about AP Studio. What should we keep doing? What might we add, change, do differently? Why do you keep showing up and what will keep you coming back for more? First of all, massive thanks for all the kind words and invaluable feedback.
There wouldn’t be an AP Studio without all y’all! Second, this email would be WAY too long if I included all your wonderful suggestions, so here’s a small sampling to wet your palate for the replay.
- People drop their egos at the door. Sarah Ross appreciates the focus on learning and the feeling that we’re in a safe space together, where everyone has something to contribute without thought to hierarchy or impressing others.
- Think tank vibes. Erik has enjoyed the opportunity to share work early, get feedback from a variety of perspectives, and leverage the AP Studio think tank.
- Curiosity reigns supreme. Wayne drew a parallel to an experience he had in college, where hanging out at the smart kids table inspired him to become more curious and rise to the tide of those around him.
- Comradery and context building. Dan called attention to the impact of building trust, relationship, and meaning over time with the AP Studio members.
- We need merch! #differentlysmart #notaboutcleverquips #matricesarefun – who needs one of these on a t-shirt?!
