We were excited to see so many faces in Friday’s session! Summer has officially started, so it’s extra cool when folks turn up and participate – it’s always fun to have a diverse set of perspectives and experiences in the room.

I (Sarah) was catching up on episodes of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” on HBO when I was struck by the importance of framing in social justice work.
Maybe that was a real DUH moment – but wow, it’s the only way we gain traction and improve systems that impact human rights. I went down a rabbit hole looking for articles and resources that talk about framing as a tool in social justice work. Not surprisingly, there’s a lot out there.
Here’s a couple to get you started if this topic excites you as much as it does me.
