Week 1 – Curiosity Brainstorm for See & Show
We had a great kick off to See & Show. We explored a lot of what this topic can be about including:
- Fieldtrips (both in person and virtual) to see the work/thing/experience in action provide a rich opportunity for insights.
- See & Show is about WAY more than visual tools – it’s pattern interruption, it’s stimulus for deeper thinking, it’s making things tangible and relatable, it’s a game changer!
- The culture of busy we’re all steeped in often gets in the way. How might we break old habits and try something different?
- You can start small – try ONE thing next week. Low fidelity and imperfect are OK!
- You can encourage your colleagues by being genuinely curious about their work. Ask them to SHOW you what they’re working on or learning, regardless of where they are in the process.
