    Representation Matters

    No conversation about equity would be complete without mention of the importance of authentic representation. Any Dr. Who fans in the house? The show really exemplifies representation of diverse identities. What I love about how the show manages representation is how “difference” isn’t central to character narratives – their identities aren’t ignored, but also aren’t made central to the story line.

    For the Whovians out there… David Tennant is by far my fave (10th and 14th doctors), but I’m super excited to get to know the recently revealed 15th doctor played by Ncuti Gatwa.
