Week 4 – Wildcard Sesh
We had a small group on Friday for a short but engaging wild card session. Here’s some random snippets of our conversation:
- In many organizations, there’s an unfortunate amount of rhetoric of espoused values that aren’t translated into action and culture.
- Despite what we know about the importance of culture for the health of organizations, it’s often treated as a disposable commodity.
- Focusing on what’s within your sphere of influence can be both a soothing salve and an effective means of making incremental positive impacts.
- In AP Studio we advocate for more relational and people centered workplaces. Chris recently connected with a former colleague who is a founding board president for an organization taking that approach to even more radial level – and we’re here for it! Check out Center for a Loving Workplace.
