    Recently, I’ve recommitted to a morning grounding practice. This means getting up a little earlier to give myself time to stretch, meditate, and start my day slowly. Part of my practice is 15 minutes or so of drawing. I pick a topic and sketch some ideas. It’s helping ne build my visual vocabulary and it gets my creative juices flowing.

    It’s remarkable what 45 minutes of quiet time does to boost my mood and regulate my nervous system. Highly recommend!

    That’s really inspiring. I have found myself waking up to scrolling youtube and reading news. Afterwards I feel unfocused and not ready for the day. I need to introduce a practice of making and/or writing in the morning again…
